You may or may not have read my review of Hugh Howey’s Wool Omnibus. If you you haven’t, and care to, it’s right here. I was impressed enough with the book to follow the author on Goodreads, which also gives me updates to his blog posts.
This morning I came across this post by Mr. Howey: http://www.hughhowey.com/forever-free/. He’s offering the first segment of the Wool series free. In perpetuity. (I just loved the sound of that word.)
This act probably caused upheavals and riots at the MBA programs of the country’s universities, and I’m sure there were a number of accountants clutching at their chest as they thought about the potential for lost profits.
But this is the way it oughtta be done, folks.

I love the sound of “perpetuity” as well.

Same, I love in perpetuity and I love irrevocable, I always say it with the accent on rev like I’m revving my engine- irREVocable.
Hmmm, so this is what the grown-ups do. Most enlightening!

Ooh! Ooh! IrREVocably in perpetuity!
I think he’s still dealing with Amazon over giving the story away for free, but it’ll get done. He’s a good writer.
